Malaga hit back to snatch late point at Villarreal

Malaga hit back to snatch late point at Villarreal

The Brazilian's goal came four minutes into stoppage time and ended a two-game losing streak for Bernd Schuster's side.
Villarreal, who went ahead in the 32nd minute through Bruno Soriano, were left to rue two dropped points and they remain in fourth place, six points off Real Madrid in third.
''When you don't win, it becomes a burden for the team,'' Weligton said. ''But the team is united and the result was fair considering the effort we put into it.''
In the night's other match in La Liga, Getafe beat struggling Levante 1-0 after Pedro Leon struck in the second half to send the Madrid side into sixth, ahead of the remainder of the weekend's fixtures.
''We know that this wasn't our best game,'' said Leon. ''But these are three important points after the big setback we suffered last week. Being Getafe, we are having a good season.''
