Iniesta plays down Messi-Faus dispute

 

Faus was quoted as saying earlier this month that there was no need for the Catalan club to renew Messi's contract, which led to a rebuke from the Argentine.

“Sometimes things are said without thinking or without meaning to cause hurt,” he told La Sexta.
“Messi is a fundamental player. He is for me, and for the club too.”
