Crystal Palace 2 Cardiff City 0: match report
Crystal
Palace's recovery under Tony Pulis picked up further velocity with
an impressive second win in five days.
An early strike from Cameron Jerome and a second from Marouane Chamakh were
sufficient to sink a woeful Cardiff
side who have now not won in five matches – and not scored for four and a
half hours.
Victory sees Palace level on points with West Ham though with an inferior goal
difference but the momentum is with Pulis’s men, who kept their fourth clean
sheet in five games.
Pulis, though, was happy to turn the spotlight on his goalscorers.
“Those two have been brilliant. They have given everyone in the team a lead in
respect of the way they worked. I thought Chamakh was wonderful today and
when Cameron does what he’s good at he’s a threat to anybody,” he said.
