Ronaldo 'set to miss three weeks'

Ronaldo 'set to miss three weeks'

Ronaldo pulled up early in the second-half mid-sprint before being immediately being withdrawn from play at his own request.
Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti played down the severity of the injury after the game but the AS report that the Portugal captain will definitely miss the Champions League group match against Galatasaray on Wednesday.
AS go on to report that club sources have hinted that the forward may be given an extended rest to ensure a full recovery.
Ronaldo is expected to return to the fold against Osasuna on December 14 meaning he will also miss games against Valladolid in the league, CD Olimpic Xativa in the Copa del Rey and Madrid’s final Champions League group game against FC Copenhagen.
However, Ronaldo left a medical examination on Monday morning telling reporters "I am fine", but the club released a statement saying: "there is an injury to the back of the thigh which will be monitored."
