Cesc Fabregas rules out move back to Arsenal as he plans Barcelona stay

Cesc Fabregas rules out move back to Arsenal as he plans Barcelona stay

Cesc Fabregas has stated that he would like to stay at Barcelona for the rest of his career dashing any hopes Arsenal had of re-signing the midfield playmaker.
In recent weeks reports had surfaced that the 26-year-old could one day play again for the Gunners as he is not a regular in the Blaugrana starting line-up.
However, Fabregas has now declared that he has no interest in going back and is aiming to stay at Camp Nou until he hangs up his boots.
Fabregas was also strongly linked with a switch to Manchester United in the summer, but the player remained at Barcelona and he would be happy to hang up his boots at the Spanish giants.
"It would be a dream come true to retire with Barca," he told fans on Facebook.
"I will continue to work very hard to make that happen.
"Playing here is a dream and means everything to me because I have always been a huge fan."
Fabregas still remembers his time at Arsenal fondly and answered one Facebook fan who asked him for his favourite football moment with a response to make all Gunners' fans smile.
"Scoring against Spurs," he replied.
