Bale: The best is yet to come

Gareth Bale has promised his best is 'yet to come' - and lavished praise on 'incredible' team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bale claims he is finally near to full fitness having had an injury-plagued start to his Real Madrid career since moving to the Bernabeu in a world-record €100million summer switch from Tottenham.

From his Southampton to Tottenham days, click through Gareth Bale's career defining moments.
The Welsh forward has shown glimpses of his talent, notching three goals and five assists in seven La Liga appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's troops, but he insists there is more to come in the coming weeks.
"The best is yet to come," he told Real Madrid TV. "I've just finished my pre-season and I can still give more.
"Now I'll be able to score more goals and help the team achieve success.
"It was just a matter of time until I got to 100 per cent. Now everyone is seeing what I can do.
"I need to keep working and hopefully there will be more goals."
Bale started up front alongside Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in Saturday's 5-1 dismantling of Real Sociedad - and saw the Portugal superstar notch a hat-trick to take his season haul to 24 goals in 17 games in all competitions.
The treble, his 19th hat-trick in La Liga, took Ronaldo's 2013 tally to 62 and saw him reach 225 goals in 216 games in Spain.
"Cristiano is incredible, he scores hat-tricks every week," said Bale. "It's a pleasure to play with him."
